Your files, your control
This explains how book projects in My Books are handled. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Where things are stored
- Audio recordings, transcripts, chapters and preparation notes are stored in private storage linked to your account.
- Files are only opened through short-lived private links. Nothing is public.
- Speech recognition runs in your browser, so audio is not sent to an outside AI service for transcription.
Who can access them
- You, when signed in.
- The Living Well Books administrator can technically access stored files for support, security and legal reasons. We do not read your work unless you ask us for help.
What we never do
- Use your recordings or manuscripts to train AI models.
- Use your material to create other users' books.
- Share, submit or publish anything without your explicit approval.
Deleting
- In each book's “Files & privacy” step you can delete individual recordings, or delete the whole book with every chapter and recording.
- Deletion is permanent. Download your manuscript first if you want a copy.
